Venerable Justin

Venerable Justin (Feast Day - November 17)

Verses

Asceticially vigilant he shut his eyes,
Justin the wonder of ascetics.

Venerable Justin met his end in peace. Nothing else is known of him.

It should be noted that in the Ethiopian Synaxarion for August 11th, a Justin is commemorated who is said to have dwelt on the top of a mountain and learned by heart the Psalms and the Books of the Prophets and Apostles. Whether this is the same Justin as the one commemorated today is not known.
