The photos and videos here are from the Church of the Panagia in Markopoulo of Kefallonia from August 14, 2019. Two snakes made their appearance this year in Markopoulo, and the Metropolitan urged the faithful: "We should be in awe of the snakes, but we should not venerate them, as this could lead to idolatry."
