What a charming cartoon...not hard to understand. A soldier in Korea had a prayer his Mother taught him about Michael and he said it a lot in the war, teaching it to other men. Surrounded by Chinese and facing certain death, Michael came big as life and saved him. He said Michael was a big, blond, no-nonsense man who stayed with him a little while.
"Michael, Michael, of the Morning,
Fresh chord of Heaven adorning,
Keep us safe today,
If temptation comes, drive the devil away!"
