The House Where St. Nikephoros the Leper Was Born and Raised

The hometown of Saint Nikephoros the Leper is Sirikari, a small mountain village located in western Crete, in the regional unit of Chania. His home still exists and is often visited by pilgrims. Since his canonization the house has been renovated and turned into a shrine. Nearby a church was also built dedicated to him, which was consecrated on October 2, 2018.
