On this day we commemorate our Venerable Father Markianos of Cyprus. We do not have any other information about this Saint, though some have argued that the Synaxarion of Constantinople has a typo here and meant to commemorate our Venerable Father Markianos of Cyrus, though the latter has a separate feast day on November 2nd, where the details of his life can be found.
