The number of men who were burned were a circle,
Five times five, these were seen as circular.*

The Holy Twenty-Five Martyrs of Nicomedia met their end by fire.

* In mathematics, an automorphic number (sometimes referred to as a circular number) is a number whose square "ends" in the same digits as the number itself. Five is a circular number, hence 5x5=25, 5x25=125, 5x125=625, etc.
