I was recently commissioned to translate some profound and inspiring works by our Righteous Father Alexei Mechev, which I put together in a booklet. Unfortunately, after printing 500 copies, circumstances changed and the one who commissioned the work has been hospitalized and called off the purchase. Since I am at an unforeseen personal loss with this, I wanted to make these never before translated texts available to my followers for only $11.95 a copy, which includes shipping and handling. I would like to sell all of these as quick as possible, and it would be great reading material for the lenten season. As an added incentive, for the first 50 people who order, I will also offer a never before published text by Fr. John Romanides titled "The Canon and the Inspiration of the Holy Scripture" free of charge.

Hatzi Ananias of Crete Has Been Proposed for Canonization

The Holy Hatzi Ananias was an ascetic and archimandrite of the 19th century who reposed in 1907, and whose official canonization process began in April, although in the consciousness of the people of Crete he is already a renowned Saint who has worked countless miracles (87 were recently published in a book with the names, phone numbers and addresses of the recipients, as well as many photos) and is celebrated every year on April 22nd. The 93 year old archimandrite Ioannikios Androulakis gathered all the information about his life while he restored and served as abbot of the Monastery of Panagia Exakoustis in Ierapetra, which was founded by Hatzi Ananias.

Below is a news report of the most recent feast where it was revealed that Hatzi Ananias has been submitted to be officially recognized as a Saint, along with testimonials of miracles through the intercessions of Hatzi Ananias from some who attended the feast from throughout Greece.
