4 Greek Orthodox Shrines Dedicated to Saint Symeon the Stylite

1. Church of Saint Symeon the Stylite in the village of Monolithos on the island of Santorini (still under construction).

2. Monastery of Saint Symeon the Stylite in the village of Kamares on the island of Sifnos (1667).

3. Monastery of Saint Symeon on Mount Agios Symeon on the island of Kea.

This monastery was built over an ancient temple dedicated to Aphrodite, overlooking the sea, and from its marbles the entrance to the monastery was made. It was built in the early 20th century. It is dedicated to both Saint Symeon the Stylite and Saint Symeon the God-receiver. It celebrates on both September 1 and February 3.

4. Chapel of Saint Symeon the Stylite in the village of Miliou in the district of Paphos on the island of Cyprus (2014; built over an older church).
