Another holy figure is found in the hands of her Creator. The Abbess of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity in Koropi, Eldress Justina, was translated to life having spent her life in unconditional love for all.
The funeral service was celebrated by Metropolitan Amfilohije of the Serbian Church and Metropolitan Nicholas of Lavriou and Mesogeias on Wednesday 15 March 2012 in the Katholikon of the Monastery, with dozens of priests, monks and lay people in attendance.
Metropolitan Amfilohije during the funeral reported on the personality of the eldress, who was associated with Saint Justin Popovich and became a noted spiritual mother of many Serbs and four bishops. He referred to the benevolent care she gave to those who were suffering and described eloquently how from the days of her youth to those of that of a school teacher she guided many souls to the Lord.
Her burial took place on the grounds of the Monastery next to the Katholikon.
