The Revival of a Custom in Lefkakia Argolida

On the eve of the feast of Saint George there was revived an old custom, at the initiative of the cultural association of Lefkakia - the procession of the Sacred Icon of Saint George with horses. The procession began from the church where Vespers was celebrated, and then a cavalry received the icon from the Priest and paraded it through the village. Every year many people follow and participate in the procession of the icon.
