The Life of Saint Silouan the Athonite In Icons

Saint Silouan the Athonite was a Russian monk who lived and struggled at Saint Panteleimon Monastery on Mount Athos in the early 20th century. His biographer and spiritual child, Elder Sophrony, established a brotherhood in 1959 in Essex, England known as the Monastery of Saint John the Forerunner. The icons below are frescoes in this Monastery that depict the life of Saint Silouan.
