Greece Has Most Priests Proportionately in Europe


According to the website jodi.graphics, which deals with statistical studies, Greece has the most priests in Europe per capita, with roughly 88 priests for every 100,000 people. Italy came in close second, followed by Romania. It has been suggested that these statistics will play a role in talks of the separation of Church and State.
