The Last Christians of Aleppo, Syria



Mar Elias Home for the elderly of Syriac Catholic confession in Aleppo shelters the remaining Christians in a region controlled by opposition gunmen. 7 Christians live in this home, four among them are elderly women who are over 70 years old.

The report above will shed light on the plight of the Christians who suffer dreadful living conditions and are provided with basic supplies allowing them to survive amid raging battles.

Aleppo once held the largest Christian community in Syria. In the video below they give their thoughts on the Free Syrian Army, whom they hold responsible for their demise.
