The Gift of Flying Possessed by Saint George Karslides

Gregory Eleftheriadis narrates an unbelievable testimony.

Once he had gone to Holy Confession to Elder George Karslides, and he waited almost all morning until noon for the absent Elder to return.

He was sitting under a tree, enduring the summer heat, and he was beginning to grow impatient.

Suddenly, he saw the Elder in front of him, out of nowhere, exhausted and tired, and curiously asked him:

"Where were you Elder? Did you get lost?"

"I was at Panagia Soumela, my child, and lit the lamps."

This was the calm answer of the Saint of Sipsa.

These things which are paradoxical for us materialistic people, were for the Elder completely natural, as he moved daily in this celestial sphere with no physical limitations.

Mother Argyro, who had been serving him for the last few years of his life, was now so familiar with his supernatural life that, when she saw him coming flying from the Prophet Elias, she argued with him very naturally, because he was late and the food was cold.

She was no longer surprised at what supernatural things she saw happening in the person of the Elder, lovingly and devotedly serving him as his real mother.
