Dear Readers, since I did not meet my fundraising goal a few months ago in the Spring, and currently am facing a bit of a financial burden that may hinder me from working on this website for a while within a few days, I thought it would be best to appeal to your help to meet my goal at this time. My work here depends on your help, so if you find it beneficial or of interest, please send your financial support. It is greatly appreciated.

Synaxis of All Saints of Rhodes

All Saints of Rhodes (Feast Day - 21 Days Before Holy Pascha)

Verse

Dance O Rhodes for being guarded by the intercessions,
Of your saints, whom you have crowned with hymns.

On this day we celebrate all the Saints of Rhodes, namely, the Holy, glorious and all-praised Apostles Paul (June 29) and Silas (July 30); the Hierarchs Euphrosynos, Ellanikos, Theodosios and Isidore; the Martyr Phanourios the Newly-Appeared (August 27); Clement and Agathangelos (January 23); the New Martyrs Euthymios the Bishop of the same (August 9); Cyril Loukaris Patriarch of Constantinople (June 27); Constantine of Hydra (November 14), Niketas of Nisyros (June 21) and Malachiah of Lindos (September 29); and the Venerable Meletios of Ypseni (February 12).

The celebration of the sacred Synaxis of all the Saints of Rhodes was established and celebrated for the first time in the Sacred Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos in the year 2009, where it is celebrated annually. On the same day is performed a memorial for the ever-memorable Metropolitans of Rhodes, as well as the reposed Priests, Deacons and Monastics of the Sacred Metropolis, the stewards of the Orthodox Community of Rhodes and the stewards of the Church.

Kontakion in the Fourth Tone
Today the faithful celebrate the Saints of Rhodes, the all-holy feast, and to them we cry out: On behalf of the island, beseech Christ.

Megalynarion
All the faithful of Rhodes, let us honor with hymns, the chorus of the wondrous and shining Saints of the island, that we may be guarded through their intercessions.
