My experience on the Huffpo with these atheists convinced me many were hired to say as many hateful things as they could. They often begin with a personal attack...a giveaway. Trying to be well informed and patient only enrages them.
I agree with Fr. Barron's high minded suggestion! But there is madness and fanaticism in atheism that has no interest in truth, only hurting. Sometimes religious people will do the same. So I pretty much see people not as believers or unbelievers...but as people of good will or ill.
